About us

Our History

Leadership of our organization have been providing trainings in de-escalation and mentorships for 30 years. Many of our team members have been working with Dr. Eddie Woods and Mr. Norman Martin since childhood and now continue to mentor young individuals as well.

Since 1991

Dr. Eddie Woods and his wife Annette Woods began the Life Hope Center in 1991, bringing awareness to the risk reduction model and the importance of positive youth development.  They have helped countless young people and adults alike using the risk reduction model in Louisville Kentucky and it has worked for many for decades. Dr. Woods now coaches his team to follow the model and continues to innovate in order to reach youth troubled by gun violence all over the country.

Mission

The mission of No More Red Dots (NMRD) continues to help end gun violence in Louisville and whatever communities we are in. We are a group of trained intervention professionals that recruit those youth who favor and/or are impacted by gun violence to be involved in our mentorship group and other programs.

The goal is to change the attitude and behaviors of our participants by teaching then the value of peace and human life. Our programs are creating a viable way to maintain positive behaviors and keep first and moderate offenders from becoming a recidivist and falling deeper into negative life-styles.
